Within the Coffee Industry, it is recognized that in order to create a perfectly extracted espresso shot, the amount of pressure that must be exerted on the ground coffee is equal to 15kg.
The Eazytamp tamps to 15kg of pressure every time, or can be locked as an alternative. To convert the spring-loaded tamp to a stationary tamp, simply push down the handle and turn anti-clockwise.

These tampers may also have some minor cosmetic damage that occurs as a result of normal manufacturing. However the mechanics and inner workings of these tamps are of the highest standard and quality and are mechanically no different from other tampers sold as new. These tampers are most of the time sold below cost.
Consumers should be aware that third parties might buy these discounted tampers and then choose to resell them through eBay or any other medium. They may purport to sell them as new tamps from the manufacturer. Consumers are advised that these are not new tamps and do not come with the manufacturers guarantee. This manufacturer guarantee comes with every new tamp purchased. If it doesn’t come with a guarantee card, it is not a new item.
